TEİAŞ, in compliance with the State's general energy policy, has been put into action in 01.10.2001 in order to take over all the transmission system in the country, to implement services such as electricity transmission, load delivery, and operation planning. TEİAŞ, within the decree law numbered 233 as an economic state organization and within the framework of current legislation and main status judgments, works in conformity with the new market structure within the scope of the transmission license taken from Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) in 13.03.2003.

BİLTEN is an institution which –with the purpose of being a magnet that is leader, foreground, and active in the national and international levels- focuses on the specific sub-areas strategically important in terms of public benefit in the field of space technologies and electronics researches, develops integrated approaches, determines the primary workspaces, combines the abilities of universities, public and private sectors, produces information and technology relevant to the changing and developing technology base of the national industry, actively takes part in international projects, creates customer satisfaction with applicable projects, shapes the sector with the help of legislation, policy, and standard development  works, increases the public awareness in related issues.
