The ±10MVAr STATCOM laboratory prototype has been completed and the tests are ongoing. In this context, the design and production of H-Bridge modules, which are the main structure of the STATCOM system, have been made. 15 H-Bridges required for STATCOM prototype with ± 10MVAR rated power were placed into CTP frame structure and the links between H-Bridges and frame structure were provided with flexible bars. Thus, the power stage of a ±10MVAR STATCOM unit has been made ready for tests.
