ABOUT THE PROJECT / THE GOAL OF THE PROJECT |
The goals of the project can be summarized in this way:
To identify principles, approaches, hardware, and software requirements which will enable to monitor Power Quality parameters defined in IEC 61000-4-30 Std. "Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC); Testing and measurement techniques-Power quality measurement methods" continuously in the Turkish Electricity Transmission System and to carry out development activities accordingly,
To make the reactive power and the energy flows in the Turkish Electricity Transmission System monitored,
To comply with the universal standards, increasing the quality of the power in the Turkish Electricity Transmission System in the medium and long term,
To make TEİAŞ be gradually able to apply the judgments of "Electricity Market Network Regulation" dated 31.12.2003 and " Regulations on Supply Reliability and Quality in Electricity Transmission System” dated 10.11.2004,
To contribute substantially to Turkey's needs concerning engineer and researcher potential specialized in the field of power quality in the medium and long term.
